In today’s world, we hear a lot about “sustainability” when it comes to the environment. But sustainability also has more personal relevance. It’s important to be more mindful of practicing it in ourselves.
Increasingly, we’re hearing an acknowledgement of what many of us already feel – that the world has become too fast, and humans are at their breaking point. In response, we need to turn to “human energy conservation” as individuals, family members, professionals, and as part of the wider world.
At a time when our “systems” are ready to break, and the level of burnout is soaring, it’s time to turn our attention to personal wellness in a more focused and urgent way.
